We are delighted to review the Tiny Treasure Doll.
I know it’s not normal to say straight off the bat that we are pleased, but I can’t help it! It is really wonderful! It has real-life like features. When I saw it first, my heart melted and I was sure Sasha would be pleased. No, not pleased, ecstatic! And I was right! Here’s the sum of our impressions.
The doll came beautifully packaged in what appears to be a baby carrier. I was secretly hoping it could just stay in the carrier because I know Sasha would want to feed it all sorts and after a while, she would be rather mucky. But at the same time, I had to take off my Mummy hat. I had to unbox it so Sasha could get to cuddle her, talk to her, kiss her and do all the things she has wanted to do with a doll. She has never had a real ‘baby’ doll before and she was so pleased. She even says ‘she smells nice too!’. That’s because each Tiny Treasures doll comes scented like talcum powder!

So let me tell you about the doll. She is baby-like. She has hair that feels like real new-born baby hair, sooooo soft! Sasha actually squealed with delight when she removed her little hat and felt her hair. When the doll is held upright, she opens her eyes and seems to look in amazement. Then as soon as Sasha puts her to bed, her eyes roll back as she goes to sleep. Oh! It’s a real dream.
The clothes on the doll can be removed, washed and changed and I will take real pleasure in making her some new outfits. Both Sasha and I will have lots of fun where that is concerned.
What I love most about the doll are:
- It’s life-like features – it makes it easier for me to teach Sasha how to talk to and treat a young one, thus helping her with emotional intelligence.
- I like how it is packaged so that the very packaging doubles up as a carrier for the doll.
- The doll’s clothes are well made and suitable for the doll.
- The size is right for a newborn baby doll.
- The parts are sturdy and well secured, that is really reassuring. I would hate to think that some toy I gave Sasha ended up hurting her.
Honestly, I could not come up with any negative. There is one thing that Sasha said which is that the doll is heavy. So there. That might be a negative which comes with a positive as I am sure it will help her with developing her manual dexterity.
So overall, a truly magnificent choice. If I were to give this a rating out of 5, it would definitely have a 5 from me. The dolls are by well known toy brand, Chad Valley.
