LOL Doll Confetti Pop Review

Well. our doll days are long gone from the time we used to make our own back in Jamaica. Oh, that feels like centuries ago, lol.

At the recent BlogonX conference held in Manchester, I got the chance to review a few products. I really wanted to choose some products aimed at children, both male and female. This way, I could get a chance to relive my childhood (or bits of it) through their eyes.

One of the products I got was the LOL doll confetti pop. It was shaped like a ball and looked quite intriguing. JP took to it right away, cementing the idea that it was aimed at girls. She unwrapped it and shared her views below.

The LOL doll ball looked fun to open. It was bright yellow and had a picture of a doll on the wrapper with ‘LOL surprise, confetti pop’ next to it and sprinkle looking pictures around. You have to tear off the wrapping layer by layer with a little surprise in each, you know when you have taken off all the layers when you see a BIG PINK BALL!!!

The ball had multiple patterns around the side and had a “Spin me” sign on the top with little doors under it. The doors are exciting to open as there are little blind bags under each with something inside, mine had pieces of clothing. After all the doors are open it tells you to find the string and pull it, now this is the fun part! When you pull the string…….. the ball pops open and CONFETTI IS SHOWERED EVERYWHERE!!! There is a big blind bag (the doll) and a piece of paper telling you the names of each collectable doll available. Overall it was pleasing to open as you never know what to expect and is an easy way to distract children.

I think it is suitable for 5 to 8-year-olds because it needs parental help to open it and/or to read the instructions.

And Voila! You have a surprise doll and several more to collect and keep!

Thanks to JP for reviewing and giving us her honest views.
